Don brings more than 35 years of business and entrepreneurial experience including: 10 years in financial services (securities, insurance and private wealth management.); 8 years in renewable energy development; 3 years in design-build of athletic fields   Don held financial advisory positions with LPL Financial, Citi-Smith Barney and Edward Jones and investment banking with Allegiance Capital Corp.
 

Don has focused on building the strategic infrastructure for raising capital, concentrating on the company’s unique business strategies.  He is a veteran of business development as he served, helping build value and understanding for a renewable energy for the past 8 years.  During this time, the company grew rapidly to become the largest renewable energy developers in Texas and the third largest on-shore wind developer in the U.S. He served as the primary point-of-contact for 3,000+ investors including finalizing contract details, updating contracts as projects changed, regular corporate progress updates, overseeing quarterly payments and troubleshooting any concerns.  Don also helped with recruiting new investors as the company expanded into new markets out of state, creating new contracts and finalizing all details to grow the investor base.

Don helped spearhead the initial fundraising campaigns for several companies and built the financial base that strengthened the Company’s growth.  His ability to communicate benefited both equity and project investors, keeping all parties informed during the process.  

Education: University of Texas at Arlington, Bachelor of Business Administration.

He is married to Teri and they have two grown children. He likes watching sports, playing golf and traveling.
